Liven up your dinner table with this Cajun Grilled Shrimp Recipe.
1 - 2 lbs lg. raw shrimp - peeled and deveined (leave tails on)
1-2 sticks melted butter
1 c. cooking wine (red or white)
2 tbsp. lemon pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 juice of real lemon
2 tbsp. Creole seasoning or more to taste for spicier shrimp
Combine all ingredients except shrimp in a sealable container. Blend well.
Add shrimp and cover container. Shake gently. Marinate shrimp in the mixture for 1 hour to overnight in refrigerator. Skewer shrimp when ready to grill.
Preheat grill to medium heat.
Place shrimp skewers on grill and turn after 1 to 2 minutes Baste with excess marinate while cooking on the grill. Grill shrimp until they turn pink. Do not over cook!
