Wow! It doesn't get any better then this Stuffed Shrimp Recipe. Perfect grilled shrimp flavor with crab stuffing. Get your dinner plates ready!
Recipe Ingredients:
2 lbs. Jumbo Shrimp - raw, deveined and butterflied
1 lb. can of lump Crab Meat
1 cup bread crumbs, plain or seasoned
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
1 egg - beaten
1 cup unsalted butter - melted
2 tablespoons butter
5 - 6 cloves garlic - chopped
1 stalk celery - chopped
1/2 of a medium onion - chopped
1 Lemon
Couple Sprigs Fresh Parsley
Preheat grill to approx. 350 degrees.
On piece of aluminum foil, combine 2 tbsp. butter, garlic, celery and onion. Heat until warmed through. Once heated combine with crab meat. Then add in bread crumbs, mayo, and egg. Stirring in between ingredients. Add approx. 1/4 cup melted butter until a ball starts to form. Lay out butterfly shrimp on a aluminum baking sheet. Apply a small scoop of stuffing mixture to the top of each shrimp. Cook approx. 6 - 8 minutes and then baste with melted butter. Continue cooking approx. 6 - 10 more minutes. When done, arrange on platter, sprinkle with a small amount of squeezed lemon juice and garnish with sliced lemon wedges and parsley.
