Shrimp Appetizer Wedges with Cream Cheese and Pineapple

For this Shrimp Appetizer Wedges recipe it is ok to buy pre-cooked shrimp. It will save you time. You can, however, feel free to buy raw shrimp and boil it yourself. Ingredietns:

1/2 pound shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined
6 ounces soft cream cheese
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 cup pineapple, crushed, drained
1/4 cup ripe olives, chopped
1 tablespoon lime juice
6 slices bread
6 slices wheat bread

Directions:

Chop shrimp into small pieces. Combine all ingredients except bread; mix well.

Spread a little plain cream cheese onto bread and remove crust from all bread slices.

Spread equal amounts of shrimp mixture on 6 slices of white bread; cover with remaining slices of wheat bread and cut each sandwich into 4 pieces diagonally.

Cheese and Shrimp Appetizer

Party bread
1 (4 1/2 oz.) can shrimp, drained and chopped
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese (4 oz.)
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. dried dill weed

Toast bread lightly. In small bowl, stir together shrimp, cheese, mayonnaise, milk, and dill weed. Spread shrimp mixture on toast. Broil 6 inches from source of heat 3-4 minutes until hot and bubbly. Garnish with parsley. Yields: Approximately 30.
