BBQ Shrimp Kabobs Recipe

Get your grill fired up for some BBQ Shrimp Kabobs with veggies.

For this recipe I recommend using a Jack Daniels BBQ sauce or one of my other favorite sauces is Original Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce.

Also, if you have searched my website, you will see me say over and over to use raw shrimp when the recipe calls for it. If you use cooked shrimp and grill it for the recipe it will come out very tough. Trust me, I've tried it, it's not good!

Ingredients:

3 lbs. raw jumbo Shrimp - peeled and deveined
1 bottle BBQ sauce
1 onion
2 green bell peppers
1 quart cherry tomatoes
1 quart whole mushrooms

Directions:

Cut onions and green peppers in large pieces. On skewers place all ingredients, alternating between shrimp and veggies and lay in a flat dish. Cover kabobs in barbecue sauce and leave in refrigerator for at least two hours. Remove from bbq sauce and place on grill, cook until done.

We recommend the jumbo shrimp because it will take longer to cook and will allow time for the vegetables to cook also. If using smaller shrimp, skewer them seperately from shrimp and put them on the grill first. Allow about 6 - 10 minutes for shrimp skewers.
